Wardour Street > Division 1

Issue number 62 of Tallis's London street views showing nos. 1-36 and 95-127 Wardour Street. At no. 18 can be seen the premises of Domenico Olivieri, sculptor and modeller. His son, Edward Alexander Olivieri, exhibited at the Royal Academy in the 1850s-1860s. The furniture designer Thomas Sheraton lived at 106 Wardour Street from 1793-1795 and there are a number of furniture related trades still present on the Tallis street view.
